Toolkit for INGYOs involved in Structured Dialogue is on its way!

It may seem like the Christmas holidays are almost here and everyone has stopped working, but the Structured Dialogue and International Non-Governmental Youth Organisations (INGYOs) decided to ignore it and prove the opposite!

On the 16th of December representatives of several INGYOs met for the last time in 2013. The meeting was organised by YEU International at the office of YEU International and EEE-YFU in Brussels, and made possible with a support of a Microgrant for INGYO Projects for Structured Dialogue from the European Youth Forum, for which the INGYOs jointly applied earlier this year.

Points on the agenda of the meeting varied from discussing consultation for the 3rd phase of this cycle of the Structured Dialogue, sharing best practices on the involvement in the process, discussing benefits of cooperation between INGYOs, looking into how we could promote the added value of our involvement in the topic of the Greek Presidency, up to starting the   creation of a toolkit for INGYOs involved in Structured Dialogue.

The toolkit is a joint effort which will showcase sustainable techniques and methods for consultations carried by INGYOs and will be available to all INGYOs. More in detail, the toolkit will provide you with information on what the Structured Dialogue is, how you can get involved, why you should get involved, how to lead a consultation, and various tips on how to make the process the most participatory and effective. These will hopefully ease and improve INGYOs involvement in the process and help ensuring a real dialogue between young people and stakeholders.

Since this was the last event linked to the Structured Dialogue of this year and 2013 is coming to an end, OBESSU would like to thank YEU for taking the leading role in applying for the Microgrant thanks to which we will be able to strengthen our work in the process.

We also want to thank all INGYOs and National Youth Councils  who have worked towards and supported the recognition of INGYOs as official actors in the process!
