OBESSU Board Statement Regarding the Ongoing Genocide in Palestine

Commitment to Peace and Conflict Resolution requires us to stand up for Justice and Respect of International Law and Norms. Therefore, as OBESSU, we cannot remain silent in the face of human rights violations. As we witness this ongoing genocide, the relentless cycle of violence and loss of lives, we must not forget that an entire generation is simultaneously denied its Right to Education. As OBESSU, we call for an immediate end to the genocide, violence and occupation, unrestricted access to humanitarian aid, and structural actions towards rebuilding the education system in Gaza.
