Board

The Board of OBESSU is elected for two years during the General Assembly.

The Board is responsible for leading and representing the organisation between the General Assemblies. The official Board meetings are held about every second month and between the meetings the Board members take part in the continuous work of OBESSU.

About

Albert has been involved in the student movement since 2016, starting at his local student council. In secondary, he joined a student council, who are members of EEO, where he was elected to Vice President in 2021, focusing on building the capacity and finances of the union. Now, he is serving as a Board member of OBESSU for the term 2023/2025.

About

Andrew has been involved in student activism on a local level since 2019 in his school's student council, advocating for the rights of students in his community; Since then he has been involved in the Irish Second-Level Students’ Union as their Regional Officer & National Secretary. He is now one of the OBESSU Board Members for the term 2023/2025.

Anna has worked with student activism since lower secondary school and hasn’t stopped since. Both with a local, regional, national and international perspective. She is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and was formerly a part of our member organisation DGS as international officer. She is based in Copenhagen, Denmark

About

Nathan has been engaged in activism for many years. First at a local level with school student unionism, associative and political activism, during his general high school years. Then also with labour unions during his apprenticeship.
Nathan is a former Co-Secretary General (chairperson) of our French member organisation, MNL. He is based in Paris, France.
