Andreas, welcome aboard!

From the beginning of September 2016, OBESSU has a new intern who will be supporting the Board on the research on welfare of school students in Europe, following the work done by the Working Group on Student Welfare in 2015.

Andreas is originally from Greece and he has been living in Brussels for the last three years. After having obtained his degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences, he has taught physical education to children in different educational institutions.

Having a strong interest in different aspects and topics related to education, Andreas will conduct a research on Student Welfare with the aim to analyse the current situation and the implication of its effects on the quality and access to education in Europe. The outcomes of this research will be used by OBESSU and its members for policy work and advocacy towards policy-makers at European and national level. The internship will be part of his master studies in Educational Sciences.
