Call for Participants to “Right to Representation”
We are very glad to open the call for participants for the upcoming big OBESSU event: Right to Representation that will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from the 5th to the 12th December (including travel days).
What does representation mean? Who do school student organisations represent and how? Is there a “right” to representation? Do individual have to choose or organisations have a duty to represent everyone? How to ensure that organisations truly reflect the voice of its members/school students?
These will be some of the questions that participants, facilitated by a motivated group of school students will explore during the event.
Each of the Member and Candidate organisations can nominate two participants, and as defenders of gender equality we encourage you to send gender balanced delegations to all OBESSU events.
Please note that, for this activity, spots will be limited. We strongly encourage you to only nominate and confirm the participation of those people that are really going to take part in the activity.
