How much should education cost to be inclusive?

Education should always be free. Every young person, no matter their socio-economic background, has the same equal right to quality education. This can only be assured by making education free for all.

Is education too expensive?

Educational costs vary everywhere, which is a problem and a cause of inequality. Some school systems in Europe, at secondary level, impose compulsory school fees. An even bigger problem is however, when the actual costs are higher than expected. Books, school material and transport are hidden costs that not everyone can afford.
