OBESSU Policy Paper on Student Protest: A Universal Right to Mobilisation

OBESSU reaffirms that the right to protest is not a privilege to be managed: it is a fundamental freedom to be protected. Across Europe, students who take to the streets are increasingly met with repression, criminalisation, and force. OBESSU calls on all European governments and EU institutions to enshrine the right to peaceful mobilisation, train authorities to treat protesters with dignity, and put an end to the policing of dissent.
