EU Youth Conference in Luxembourg

During four days in Luxembourg, youth delegates together with decision-makers came together for the EU Youth Conference as a part of the Structured Dialogue on Youth. This conference was the last of the three during the cycle, thus concluding the trio-Presidency of Italy, Latvia and Luxembourg.

The main purpose of the conference was to create an implementation toolbox for the joint conclusions that were made in Riga, Latvia, at the previous conference. This means the recommendations received a practical toolbox for member states to use for implementation.

OBESSU was present in an expert role as well as participant in the workshop on ”Creating a culture of participation at school”, working on recommendations on student councils as well as citizenship education.

The next cycle will start with the presidency of the Netherlands, from the trio together with Malta and Slovakia.
