Extended Call for Members of the Study Session 2013 Prep-Team

DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL SATURDAY 12 JANUARY (midnight).

OBESSU has now begun the preparations for the Study Session that will take place at the European Youth Centre in Budapest (Hungary) from the 7th to 14thApril 2013. The title of the Study Session is “Participation and Democracy”: A legal framework for school student rights.

This study session will look at the existing tools available for school student organisations to achieve their aims and make their voices heard. This event will explore the possibilities for  school students and their organisation to advocate for full democratic participation.  

We are glad to open a call for 4 members of the preparatory team who will be in charge of shaping the content of the Study Session together with the Board member Ida Kreutzman, and a Council of Europe trainer. Those who are interested should send the following documents to anna@obessu.org:

  • A support letter from your organisation nominating you for the prep-team,
  • A completed application form.
The dates of the first prep-meeting are 8-11 February 2013.

The EXTENDED Deadline for applications is 12th January 2013 midnight. We invite you to share this call with interested school student activists!
