Foire de l’Etudiant 2013 – Reach youth
A place where a multitude of young people come together, give and get information about universities and other career opportunities? That’s what the yearly Student Information Fair in Luxembourg City is. This year’s “Foire de l’Etudiant 2013”, which took place from the 14th to the 15th November, was focused on architecture, engineering and construction. Alongside a number of university representatives from all over Europe and even from Russia, USA and Japan, the UNEL (Luxembourg’s National Students Union) was present.
We had a booth full of posters, as usual, and the target to inform as many people as possible on currently relevant topics such as the planned reform of the scholarship system. It was definitely a success and we got in contact with a number of other organisations at the same time. In addition, we had numerous compelling discussions throughout these two days with all kind of people ranging from school students to a 70-year-old self-claimed “perpetual student”. Altogether, the work put in getting all the material ready and setting up the booth was definitely worth the effort. So save the date for next year’s edition and grab the chance to get in touch with a lot of students from all over Europe in Luxembourg.
