International Summer Film Academy
If you want to have lots of fun, improve your team-working skills, your spoken English, and learn professional media production and communication techniques in order to make meaningful films that will help you send across powerful messages, then you should join the intensive Summer Film Academy in Kirchberg am Wechsel, Austria. The International Summer Film Academy has been especially designed to empower those who have a desire and a vision for a more peaceful, equal and fair world by offering them hands-on professional film and media training. During the week we will work on performance and communication skills, directing, camera and sound, media project design and management, while at the same time having fun with exciting outdoor games.
During the week you will also participate in various workshops on environmental sustainability, diversity, tolerance, gender inequality, and Fairtrade, based on which you can then create your own unique and meaningful media clips using the latest in “filmlook” cameras and Apple Macs.
Dates: Week 1: 19-24 August, 2012 or Week 2: 26-31 August
Cost: EUR 239 for full payment or EUR 219 if you register and pay the deposit by April 15th, 2012. The fee includes tuition, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and accommodation in a shared room.
