Meet Giuseppina, our new Interim Secretary General!

As of 4th June OBESSU welcomed a new Interim Secretary General. In fact, our current Secretary General -Ela- is starting her maternity leave on 15th June until January 2019 and will be replaced by Giuseppina.

Pina is a known face in OBESSU. She acted as a Board Member from 2014 to 2016 and later joined the Pool of Trainers. She holds a degree in linguistics and is currently undertaking a postgraduate course in Gender Studies and Policies. Before coming to OBESSU, Pina worked in the European civil society sphere as Administrative officer and as freelance consultant on different projects.

Her main tasks as Interim Secretary General will be to be link between the Board and the Secretariat, which she coordinates and manages. She also supports the Board, the Working Groups and other OBESSU structures. Her tasks also include the daily management of the organisation from its strategic and financial point of view, in coordination with the Board and the rest of the Staff.

Colour-coded freak, deadline enthusiast, dog lover and chocolate addicted, Pina is very happy to be back on board of the OBESSU ship and is very looking forward to navigate the sea of School Student Activism together with the coolest bunch of people in the world: OBESSU Members, Candidates, Affiliates and Partners!

We wish the best of luck and send all the possible love to Ela, who will be enjoying her maternity leave growing and taking care of the next generation of European School Student Activist.
