Országos Középiskolás Érdekképviselet (OKÉ)
OKÉ is the cooperation platform of the student governments of Hungarian secondary schools. Any high school or vocational high school can join the network with a unilateral declaration of intent.
• Restoration of mutilated school democracy, development of participation among students.
• Organization of social games and contests
• Seminars for school students to provide them with information on specific topics as well as technical skills For example training student journalists.
The primary activity of the organization is to inform students about the status of the enforcement of student rights, as well as organizing regular experience exchange forums between student leaders.
In the past period, OKÉ has managed to get in touch with about 110 schools through informational projects or events, and it’s constantly expanding the content of their cooperation. With the individual programs, OKÉ supports the development of individual local and urban student communities, and organizes trainings and workshops.
