OBESSU’s “A Manual for School Students” translated into Georgian!
The Georgian School Students Unions’ Alliance (GSSUA) has, after seven months of hard work, launched the Georgian version of OBESSU’s “A Manual for School Students”. Since GSSUA is still a young organization, the Manual is very helpful for newcomers and the whole organization in developing skills and offering knowledge needed in a school student union.
GSSUA aims at promoting the Manual around Georgia by organizing local training-seminars in 8 regions of the country for school students, a project that will kick-off in February 2013. All member unions of GSSUA have the chance to get hard copies of the Manual for free.
The first introduction and presentation of the Manual took place in Tbilisi on 29th of December 2012. 60 school student activists attended the meeting and created a plan for a campaign to be run in their own schools. GSSUA is very happy that there is such a high interest on the Manual from school students, and is looking forward to receiving the same positive reception during future meetings.
