Stop the deportations of school students!
Austria, 28th of January 2021: while thousands of school students are concerned about Covid-19, distance learning, the effects of the lockdown and exams, other students - besides the ongoing crisis, are forced to worry also about other matters: being deported. After being in the Austrian education system for years, having made friends, or even being born here, today, 28th of January, three students and their families have been deported to Georgia and Armenia, and more students and families are held in the detention centres to be deported tomorrow 29th January
Portuguese Presidency of the Council of European Union
From the 1st of January 2021 until June 2021, Portugal will be presiding over the Council of the European Union for the fourth time. Given the difficult time, with the COVID-19 pandemic and its social and economic consequences posing unprecedented challenges, the priorities of the Portuguese Presidency will focus on the recovery of the EU and its Member States.

17 Now - School Students' Rights Are Not In A Lockdown
Every year on the 17th of November falls the International Students’ Day, a really important day for OBESSU and for students worldwide and an occasion to highlight our rights as students. Hence the name of our 17Now Campaign this year: “School Students’ Rights are not in a Lockdown”.
