From the 12th until the 15th of March, OBESSU, represented by our Board Member Alexandra, participated in the EU Youth Conference organised by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council. Despite a bitter taste for the Conference taking place online instead of in Vila Nova de Gaia as planned, we can say it was a great experience.

From the 15th of April and the 15th of May, #Ecofighters and OBESSU will host the impact month. We will be funding actions related to raising environmental awareness and sustainability or advocating for climate justice from youth organisations.

Call for European Solidarity Corps Volunteer - Membership and Outreach
OBESSU is launching the call for a volunteer to join the Secretariat team in Brussels under the project European Solidarity Corps.

The project will focus on Membership and Outreach and it will start in June 2021 and finish in May 2022.

Stop the deportations of school students!
Austria, 28th of January 2021: while thousands of school students are concerned about Covid-19, distance learning, the effects of the lockdown and exams, other students - besides the ongoing crisis, are forced to worry also about other matters: being deported. After being in the Austrian education system for years, having made friends, or even being born here, today, 28th of January, three students and their families have been deported to Georgia and Armenia, and more students and families are held in the detention centres to be deported tomorrow 29th January
