School students from Romania are demonstrating for free transportation services
This Friday, more than 100 school students from all over Romania gathered in Timișoara, the city from which the Revolution against the communist system started in 1989, to demonstrate for free transportation services for all school students. Right now, Romania is facing a political crisis and both the Government and the Parliament are ignoring the demands of school students.
Get to know Juanma, our new Project and Policy Officer
On 27 January, OBESSU welcomed Juanma Baez in the Office, the new Project and Policy Officer for the European Changemaker Academy (ECMA). Juanma studied economics in Spain and has worked in European Networks for the last two years in the fields of education and volunteering.
Our EYF workplan on #PeerEducation is coming to an end!
Between 29 November - 2 December we met in Berlin, Germany with participants from different activities of the EYF workplan on #PeerEducation. During the meeting, we had two main goals - to finish the Guidelines on Peer Education and to discuss the next steps, such as how to disseminate and promote the guidelines.
OBESSU welcomes a new Programme Manager!
From the 15th January we welcomed a new colleague in the OBESSU office: Dragana! She will be working with OBESSU as a Programme Manager, so she will manage the projects’ team of OBESSU and will ensure the quality implementation of the annual implementation plan and the work plan of OBESSU. She will be working on harmonising all of the OBESSU projects and maximising their impact for the members and the wider public as well as she will work strategically to ensure that the OBESSU programmes run smoothly and offer quality learning experiences.
