As of 4th June OBESSU welcomed a new Interim Secretary General. In fact, our current Secretary General -Ela- is starting her maternity leave on 15th June until January 2019 and will be replaced by Giuseppina.

As you probably know new edition of "Seeds for Integration" has already started and it's time to announce projects which are selected in first round. Before we continue with the list it is important to mention that these projects have been selected by our selection committee, group of 4 external evaluators who are young professionals with a lot of relevant experience in student activism and/or work with refugees and migrants.

OBESSU team was in Strasbourg for the biggest youth event of the year!
On 1st and 2nd of June, around 10.000 young people from all over Europe gathered in Strasbourg for the biggest youth event of the year, the European Youth Event (EYE), hosted by the European Parliament and the Yo!Fest, the youth festival organised by the European Youth Forum (YFJ). The programmes of this year gave young people the opportunity to raise up their voices and take action on topics that affect their lives.

UNITED conference ‘Building Shared Space'
UNITED conference ‘Building Shared Space – Best Practices in Integration’ took place in Budapest between May 22nd and 25th with the aim of discussing the most important challenges as well as possible solutions within the field of migrant inclusion in Hungary and in the European Union. OBESSU had representative at this event, as well - Milos, our programme coordinator.
