Sex & Gender Working Group – call for members extended!

Not only are we having a Study Session focusing on Sex & Gender but we’re also having a Working Group!

OBESSU has opened the call for applications for Members of the Working Group on Inclusive Sex & Gender Education. The Working Group is responsible for shaping and supporting the implementation of OBESSU’s work on Inclusive Sex & Gender Education in 2019 (in cooperation with the OBESSU Board). 

As a member of the Working Group you will contribute to:

• Exploring the entire topic and revising OBESSU’s current policy in the area;

• Producing activities, with the support of the PoT, dedicated to the topic;

• Harmonising, together with the Board and the Secretariat, the outcomes and the outputs of the Study Session on inclusive Sex Education.

• Preparing an advocacy campaign focusing on incorporating inclusive sex education intonational curricula. 

We expect to select, people who:

• Are member of an OBESSU Member, Candidate or Affiliate Organisation

• Have experience, knowledge and/or interest in working on the topic of inclusive sex education

• Are passionate about campaigning and possibly have some experience on innovative campaigning

• Have some experience in delivering workshops and non-formal activities on the topic

• Are available to attend one physical meeting in Brussels in Spring 2019

• Are willing to work 1-2 hours per week on average for the working group

• Feel comfortable working at a professional level in English
