Skip the Barriers of International Mobility
Funding Programme: Erasmus+Programme of the European Union – Key Action 2 Cooperation Partnerships
Duration: April 2025 – April 2028
Skip the Barriers of International Mobility (SBIM) aims to provide young people from diverse backgrounds, particularly those with fewer opportunities, with the information and tools they need to participate in international mobility programmes. Furthermore, the project aims to develop functional and dynamic tools, such as focus groups with youth workers, to develop a methodological framework and gather insights into their role in facilitating international mobility. The project also aims to help youth workers conduct high-quality workshops and activities to engage a large audience with a toolkit. Additionally, two training courses will be organised to enhance youth workers’ communication and facilitation skills. Awareness-raising activities will be carried out across partner organisations, and an interactive digital pathway will be co-designed to guide young people through the whole international mobility experience.
The core objectives of the project are:
- To provide youth workers with adapted tools and skills so that they can provide targeted and relevant awareness-raising interventions about international mobility.
- To improve the quality of youth workers’ interventions by providing adapted and relevant ways of pitching the benefits of international mobility.
- To improve the access to information for young people about international mobility opportunities by guiding them.
The project is implemented in partnership with:
