SSUN decides on how to create the best school in the world

From 13 till 17 March, the School Student Union of Norway (SSUN) gathered more than 500 student representatives from our 350 member schools, to decide how we are going to create the best school in the world. Check out the pictures of this event on  For five days, the students debated and decided what our opinions should be on the matters of education, what we are going to work towards in the year to come, how our organization should be run. Furthermore, we elected a new board a general secretary and a new leader. We were also visited by several prominent people from the Norwegian realm of education, including the minister of education and the Crown Prince of Norway.

Our new leader, Axel Fjeldavli said: “International cooperation is essential if we are to achieve our goals, to make education available for all, and create the best school possible. We hope that OBESSU will continue to be a relevant and productive partner in this work.”

The changes made in our politics, strongly encourages more European cooperation, so we are looking forward to work with the other school student unions of Europe in the year to come.
