Welcome to Eszter: our new Programme Coordinator!

From the 1st of August 2016 OBESSU has a new Programme Coordinator tasked to implement the project #RefugeesWelcome to School.

Eszter is initially from Hungary, but has been studying and working in six different countries these last couple of years. The experience of living in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia has profoundly marked her; strengthening her belief that diversity is a great advantage for all societies, hence her passion for the topic of migration. Eszter has a degree in International Relations and one in International Migration and Ethnic Relations. She has been working on policies and projects related to migrant integration and refugee protection in different international organisations.

Eszter will work on a new initiative, the #RefugeesWelcome to school project. In the framework of the project, micro-grants will be provided to grass-roots groups of school students. As such, they will have the capacity to develop small scale initiatives with the aim of fostering the educational integration of migrants and refugee students.

Enthusiastic about travelling and always discovering something new and out of the ordinary, Eszter has set her mind on visiting all the countries in the world.
