Welcome to our new Project and Policy Assistant!

Šárka is our new Project and Policy Assistant. She joined our wonderful team on the 1st of October. It’s now time that you get to know her a bit more. 

Šárka will be working on projects and policy with Judit untill the end of this year. She originally comes from the Czech Republic, where she studied educational sciences and became an English teacher. During her studies, she volunteered in a nonprofit organisation running summer camps for children every year. Two years ago she moved to Germany to study linguistics, because languages is something she is really passionate about. She kept teaching, mostly online. For that, she created  her own teaching materials, which lead her  to do an internship in Spain, in Summer 2017, where she worked in a publishing house, creating teaching and learning English materials. As a fresh graduate she is looking forward to what challenges are ahead of her. In her free time she practices yoga and reads quite a lot, either books or news to see what’s going on in the world. She is a traveler with passion for good food and music.  

We are very happy to have her on board and we hope this internship will meet her expectations.
