Advocacy
OBESSU represents school students’ rights in Europe, advocating towards European Institutions and other relevant stakeholders in the field of education.
In order to amplify our voices, we collaborate with Partners such as the Lifelong learning platform, the European Youth Forum, the European Apprenticeship Network, the Global Student Forum. We are also members of Coalitions such as the Erasmus+ Coalition and the Inclusive Mobility Alliance, Committees such as the Advisory Committee on Vocational Training and other Platforms like the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training and the European Alliance for Apprenticeship.
Our current advocacy activities focus on the following objectives:

To build the capacity of our members in policy and advocacy at the EU level

To consolidate contacts and partnerships and build new ones

To increase and strengthen the participation of school students in policy-making

To develop the organisation’s capacity in relevant policy areas
