Current projects

OBESSU runs projects on topics and issues which are considered relevant for school students around Europe. The focus of the projects are decided and shaped by the Member Organisations during consultations and Statuatory Meetings, and stated in the OBESSU Workplan.

European Changemakers Academy (ECMA)
The European Changemaker Academy Project (ECMA) aims to empower young people to become changemakers in their own community, fostering active participation on the local level as well as belonging to the European community.

Inclusive Schools
Inclusive Schools
Inclusive Schools, also called "InScool", is a project co-funded by the European Commission, under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 3 ‘Social Inclusion and Common Values: the Contribution in the Field of Education, Training and Youth’ call for proposals (call reference: EACEA/10/18). It is led by the British Council (UK) in partnership with six organisations from Belgium, UK, Spain, Greece and Poland. The project activities will last for 24 months and have started on 15 January 2019.

Stronger School Student Unions (SSSU)
The “Stronger School Student Unions” (SSSU) programme is a tailor-made programme to foster the capacity of OBESSU’s Member Organisations in different fields. We also want to create the grounds for a better cooperation, mutual support, peer learning and knowledge management in school student organisations.
