My City, My Country, My Europe: Youth Shaping the Future (YOUTH4CHANGE) aims at promoting community-led social development by empowering young people, especially within marginalized communities, and by strengthening their civic engagement at the local, national and European levels.
The core objectives of the project are:
- Strengthening civic engagement and democratic participation through structured dialogue methodologies, empowering young people to interact with policymakers and influence decision-making.
- Promoting social inclusion by prioritizing disadvantaged youth, ensuring that all voices – regardless of socio-economic status, gender, or background – are represented in civic life.
- Encouraging inter-city collaboration to share best practices on youth engagement, civic education, and participatory democracy at the local, national, and European levels.
- Combating democratic disengagement by fostering a sense of agency among young people, equipping them with tools to advocate for their rights and participate in shaping the future of their communities.
