#Ecofighters
#EcoFighters – School students for the environment is the annual work plan of OBESSU funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. The project itself aims to promote a culture of environmental awareness and activism in the context of school student organizations, through:
– Promoting exchange of best practices among OBESSU members on environmental issues and sustainability;
– Building capacities of school student activists in advocacy and democratic participation, focusing on addressing environmental challenges on local, national and international level;
– Development of an Action Kit for school student activists;
– Implementation of local and national awareness raising actions.
Within #Ecofighters we have developed useful resources to raise awarness on environmental issues such as a comprehensive Massive Online Open Course that covers six different areas, an Action Kit for school students activits and 18 policy recommendations on Education for Environmental Sustainability (EES).
