OBESSU has a new Pool of Trainers!
Alba, Ketie, Joanna, Giuseppina, Marvin, Laura Maria, Lejla and Yasmin: eight young trainers from different corners of Europe have been selected to be an active part of OBESSU over the next two years – 2017|2018. They all come from different backgrounds and have a great variety of pedagogical experiences and knowledge, ranging from democratic participation, LGBTQ+, human rights education, to sustainability, organisational development and advocacy.
Altogether they form a great resource for developing our non-formal training methods and facilitating learning processes. At each OBESSU event, members of the Pool of Trainers (PoT) play a key role in developing the activity programme in the preparatory phase, in implementing it during the event, and in evaluating it afterwards.
Moreover, they provide quality training and facilitation not just on our European level events, but also supporting our internal structures such as the Board, Working Groups and OBESSU Member, Candidate and Affiliate Organisations in developing their capacities.
As OBESSU we are committed to ensuring that each member of the Pool of Trainers has a great learning experience. Therefore, we guarantee each of them different training opportunities and an interactive group support structure. Through this deal we help our young trainers and facilitators to develop their own capacities alongside helping OBESSU in its various structures to learn better and, importantly, in more fun ways.
We are excited to have these 8 wonderful trainers in OBESSU and are looking forward to an amazing learning experience!
